The machine has a rotating drum equipped with sharpened teeth that shred the vegetation as it moves forward.  The mulched debris is left on the ground as a natural erosion control and soil nutrient replenishment method it is NOT removed from the job site. The pictures above shows a finished  Winter Snowmobile and summer bicycle trail cut through dense brush and small trees. Generally we only mulch up to 10 inch diameter trees and standing brush. We do NOT  remove the stump and roots below ground....
